Systems feature a removable polystyrene medium chamber so cells can be grown, fixed and stained on the same slide. A convenient writing surface is easily marked, providing positive sample identification. Useful for viral and mycoplasma testing, chromosome studies, toxicity tests and immunocytology. The removable media wells are attached to either a soda-lime glass microscope slide or a solvent-resistant Permanox* plastic slide by a medical-grade silicone gasket. Suitable for use with fluorescent labels. Tested for quality and sterility. Cover glass included. Note: Do not use mounting media containing toluene or xylene on Permanox slides.
