<p>Navas 25-lb. 1 Brominating Tablets are an effective sanitizer, very similar to chlorine, but is much less irritating than chlorine and is easier on your eyes and skin. Navas 1 Brominating Tablets are available in 25 lb. or 40 lb. bucket sizes.</p> <p><b>Directions for Use with Residential Pools: </b>You will want to maintain a bromine residual 2-3 ppm at all times. Add 17 tablets per 10,000 gallons of pool water every 5-7 days. By using a floating tablet feeder or automatic brominator, you can adjust the amount of bromine entering the water at all times.</p> <p><b>Directions for Use with Spas: </b>You will want to maintain a bromine residual of 2 ppm at all times. Prior to using Navas Brominating Tables, add 1/2 ounce of sodium bromide for each 100 gallons of pool water. Add 3 tablets per 300 gallons of spa water by using a floating tablet feeder or brominator.</p> <p><b>Troubleshooting: </b>Foaming can occur, this is due to the amount of spa use. Body fats, oils, and other contaminants can cause cloudiness. Using defoamers, clarifiers as well as shock, you should be able to get rid of the foaming.
