A glass microfiber prefilter raises absorption capacity and loading. Membrane can be made more hydrophilic by flushing with alcohol, followed by water. Excellent chemical compatibility for filtering harsh chemicals that destroy other membrane materials; resistant to solvents as well as acids or bases.
