This tool is built for use with OZ Lifting Products davit cranes with an AC or DC electric winch. It attaches to a 3/16" or 1/4" wire rope assembly to provide better spooling. It also ensures the wire rope is always tensioned even when lowering the hook without a load attached. This headache ball should not be used with 2500 lb. cranes.
