The large, bright yellow blooms on this deciduous shrub will brighten the garden from summer to fall. Finely textured, rich green foliage has dense clusters of small leaves, which have tiny hairs on top. An excellent selection, as it tolerates almost all growing situations, including seashore, windy, hot and dry, and is tolerant of urban pollution, thriving in inner city conditions. A favorite of woodland gardens, this compact, broadly rounded plant is excellent when used in mass as a ground cover, as a foundation plant, or in the shrub border. Definitely a versatile shrub that can be used most anywhere.
