It functions asa stand-alone access point or as part of the neutron series wirelessmanagement solution for expanding user capacity and extendingnetworks wirelessly within large buildings. This wireless point isdesigned for deployments on desktops or on ceilings where poweroutlets may be scarce. It comes equipped with PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) IEEE 802.3at/af for use with an 802.3at/af-capable PoE injector or 802.3at/af-capable PoE Switches. EWS320AP provides long-range wireless coverage and enables thewireless signal to penetrate floors, ceilings, and walls for greaterdevice connectivity. To protect sensitive data during wirelesstransmissions, the EWS320AP offers different industry-standardencryption settings for wireless transmissions, including WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, WPA-PSK Mixed, WPA Enterprise, WPA2 Enterprise, and WPA2 Mixed Enterprise .
