Swing check valves must NOT be installed upside-down. The flow velocity should not exceed 5 ft./second. Thermoplastic design with stainless steel fasteners resists process and atmospheric corrosion. Valve can be disassembled for maintenance. Pressure rated up to 150 psi in full flow (open) position, and 75 psi in the closed position (non-shock water at 73º F). Gravity-based closure (no spring). PVC body, EPDM seal weighted with a PVC disc. |
