Duct is only 3.5mm deep and can be opened or closed easily even in bulky winter gloves; duct is designed to break away in an impact. One-piece aerodynamic rear exhaust/?spoiler is operated by a three-way switch. While the spoiler has been designed for touring, it was tested at over 186 mph at Suzuka. Efficiently draws air for ventilation but also smooths airflow over and around the side of the helmet to improve stability and reduce buffeting at highway speeds. New 3-position sliding air-scoop chin vent can be opened, midway or closed to control the flow of air into the helmet. Chin vent allows for a larger intake volume of air and has a replaceable filter; actuating mechanism is easy to use with gloves. Helmet is designed to fit and connect a communication system easily on the shell interior without compromising EPS liner protection. NHSTA DOT and SNELL certified. DOT FMVSS No. 218 Certified.
