Remove the old filter by turning it clockwise as shown in the graphic. The filter will eject slightly. You will hear a clicking sound Discard the old filter.2Holding the new filter in your hands, carefully remove the packaging and sanitary end-cap from the new filter.3Insert the new filter into the refrigerator filter receptacle. With the handle in the vertical position, push the new filter into the housing until it stops. When inserting the new filter, twist the handle slightly left to right, while pushing inward. Rotate the filter clockwise a full 1/4 turn until you feel it stop. Ensure that the filter is properly installed into the refrigerator head by using a full turn when installing. This is required to activate the internal valve inside of the refrigerator. If the filter is not correctly installed using a full turn, the valve will not fully open and may cause the water flow to be slow. It may even cause the valve to make achattering noise during use.4Run water from the dispenser for 5 minutes (approximately 3 gallons) to clear the system and prevent air from entering the system.Note: The initial flow rate may be slower than expected. Full flow rate should be restored within 24-36 hours.5If your refrigerator has one, reset the units Change Filter light.6Check the new filter installation for any possible leaks. If a leak is detected, uninstall and then reinstall the filter as instructed above.*Images are for illustration purposes only.
