The Spike is a fixed blade knife that is capable of regular chores, but stands out from the crowd with it's ability to handle emergency situations where glass breaking and prying are encountered. These "non-intended use" situations are no problem with the Spike. The 52-100 carbon steel drop point blade is 3/16 inch thick with a black Caswell non-glare finish.
