Nickel alloy welding wire having tensile strength of 115000 psi and high chromium content, along with the molybdenum provides good resistance to pitting as well as crevice corrosion. It supports dissimilar metal welding and offers protection against preferential weld metal corrosion when used for joining molybdenum-containing stainless steels, Inconel?
