This sediment water filter is made of 100% polypropylene that is used in a variety of applications for residential, industrial, commercial and food services. It is resistant to chemicals and reduces waterborne contaminants such as rust, silt, sediment and sand. This filter cartridge is also known as part number SDC-25-2010. The graded density of the Hydronix 20" polypropylene water cartridge provides higher dirt holding capacity over your standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges. It is used as pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for granular activated carbon (GAC) filters. The Hydronix Water Filter Cartridge is surfactant free, binder free and adhesive free.The temperature capacity of the 10 micron Hydronix 20" Sediment cartridge ranges from 40 degrees to 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
