# Rolling pins are fun to make, useful, and a great gift idea anytime! However, there are two challenges to making a rolling pin, besides deciding on the wood combinations: finding the hardware and drilling the 12"-long 1/2" through hole. We found the hardware (#158761) and decided to predrill our most popular species for making rolling pin blanks. Blank measures 3" x 3" x 12" with a 1/2" through hole and 7/8" diameter x 1/2" deep recess on each end for the bearings.
