Simpson Strong-Tie H10AZ ZMax Hurricane Tie
The Simpson Strong-Tie H10AZ is a hurricane tie made from 18 gauge steel. It is designed to provide a connection between trusses/rafters and the top plate of the wall, resisting high-wind and seismic forces. ZMAX galvanization offers extra corrosion resistance for exterior and treated-wood applications. Install in pairs on either side of the rafter/truss/joist with 10d by 1-1/2-inch nails.
