The Pertronix 9AC-181V Ignitor II Adaptive Dwell Control is designed for Accel 34000 Series 8 cylinder engines with vacuum advance. It maintains peak energy throughout the RPM range, reducing misfires and improving engine performance. The adaptive dwell control develops more available energy between 3000 and 5000 RPM and compensates for electronic delay by adjusting spark timing. This results in reduced heat build-up and quicker, easier starting.
