The Burndy YC26A26 is a compressed line tap designed for combinations of aluminum, ACSR, 6201, and 5005 conductors. It is a C-shaped aluminum compression tap that eliminates the effects of cold flow. The tap is pre-filled with Penetrox joint compound and Stripsealed, and can be gripped in a tool for easy crimping. It is available in a 2-1/2" length, suitable for 1/0 to 2/0 stranding.
