The easy slip-on baseboard heater cover that instantly rejuvenates ugly old, yet perfectly functional baseboard heaters. Baseboarders are the only one-size fits-most perforated steel baseboard heater covers that just slip over your existing baseboard heaters. Only the original front plate and end caps are removed/recycled. Installation takes a couple of minutes and does not require the use of tools or hired help. The one-piece design uses heavy-duty 22 gauge (0.033 in. thick) galvanized steel that stands up to years of physical and chemical abuse. The pristine semi-gloss white powder coated finish can also be painted with a color of your choice using a roller or spray can application for a custom look. Baseboarders are considered child safe for their complete lack of exposed sharp edges while blocking access to the heating element from the top. All premium series end caps (closed, open, and zero clearance) are made from super heavy duty 18 gauge steel. Each end cap can contribute an optional 1.75" of the additional span when attached to a baseboard's panel. Baseboarders Premium Series Zero Clearance caps are symmetrical, there are no left or right sides. Used when the original back plate terminates within ½” of the adjacent wall. Designed to snap onto the ends of Premium Baseboarders. They are designed for heaters with pipes that bend down into the floor or back into the wall. They do not continue into an adjacent wall. Designed to snap onto the ends of Baseboarders Premium Series panels only. The panel holes are 1/8” in diameter to allow proper airflow. Intended for hydronic (hot water) baseboard heaters, but will work for electric baseboard heaters. Use basic precautions when using electric baseboard heaters, as they operate at higher surface temperatures. Baseboards products will become just as hot as the original. With a firm push, the assembly slips into place over the original baseboard heater. This ensures the best fit, and safety design- both child-proof and pet-proof.
