Outback FlexWare 500 AC enclosure with TBB- ground, din rail for AC breakers For applications with medium power requirements such as homes, light commercial or back-up power systems. The FLEXware 500 accommodates all of the essential protective devices in two easy-to-install enclosures. The FW500-AC and FX500-DC are both designed to allow mounting in either a horizontal or vertical orientation to allow easier installation in space limited locations. The FW500 system uses a single FLEXware MP mounting plate and one set of the optional DCA and ACA conduit adapters for each FX inverter installed. Description: AC enclosure which mounts at the AC side of one or two FX Series Inverter/Chargers. Supports six terminal bus bars and one FW-X240. Includes: Ground bus bar, DIN mounting bracket, communication cable conduit and enclosure mounting hardware The FW500 system utilizes one FW-MP mounting plate and a ACA conduit adapter for each inverter/charger. AC breakers, Input-Output-Bypass Assemblies and all other additional components sold separately.

The X-240 is a 4kVA rated autoformer which can be used to step up or step down 120VAC/240VAC. It is most often used in the balancing configuration for stacked FX systems. In this way loads on 2 legs can be balanced on the inverters. Also one or more inverters can idle while both legs receive power, with additional inverters waking up only when the total load requires it. Note that when in a balancing configuration the total output of the system can exceed the 4kVA rating of the autoformer as the rating applies to the power required to balance, not the total power of the system. Includes dual pole 25A breakers, and precut hookup wires. 4kVA 120/240VAC 60Hz comes with 25 amp dual-pole breaker for mounting inside the FW500 or FW1000 AC enclosures.
