If you are processing smaller pieces of glass, strips as small as 2" x 12" (51 x 305 mm) can be washed. As an option you can add motorized conveyors. Our Vertical Washer uses positive drive cog belts, and the roller drives are gear driven so you can forget about belt and chain adjustments. Processing speed is up to 18' per minute (5.48 mpm). All Somaca/CRL Vertical Washers require less energy to run because the glass being cleaned is vertical and water runs off it naturally. The blower for the air knives can be smaller and produce less volume of drying air. Full size 5" (127 mm) diameter nylon bristle brushes are safe for Low-e coatings.
