Sensitivity for the total iron test is 0120 ppm. Sensitivity for the soluble iron test is 1201200 ppm. The auto-dilution feature eliminates the need for time-consuming and error-prone preliminary dilutions. Each ampule has a capillary pipet attached to the tip that is calibrated to draw the correct volume for one of four dilution factors: 25X, 50X, 100X, and 1000X. Once the sample has been drawn, snap the tip, and results will appear in 23 minutes. Results can be quantified with a color comparator and provide an accuracy equal to a volumetric procedure that requires much more time. |
