This Ruvati sink from the Tirana series features a unique platform divide - a 3" wide textured divide that forms a platform on which you can sit those large pasta pots as you fill them with water. The platform divide is also recessed - it is 4 inches lower than the rim. The extra clearance is a blessing when you are washing those large pots and pans. This Tirana sink comes pre-drilled with two holes for faucet and soap dispenser installation. The sink comes in a standard 33-inch by 22-inch dimension, so it will retro-fit into existing cutouts from most old overmount sink. The sink features a thick solid 8 gauge rim all around that sits topmount on your countertop. The rest of the sink is constructed from 16 gauge stainless steel, one of the thickest steel available for residential kitchens. Ruvati uses T-304 grade stainless steel with a 18:10 Nickel:Chromium content ensuring that your sink is completely resistant to rusting. Thick heavy-duty sound proof coating and thick rubber padding on the outside of the sink bowl on all sides provide sound insulation against noise and thermal insulation against condensation. The inside of the sink is finished in commercial grade brushed finish which adds to the beauty of the sink. The slanted bottom of the sink and the drain grooves channel water towards the drain.
