The Pemko HSS2000-10 Hot Smoke Seal Edge Sealing System is a surface-applied intumescent material with a graphite finish. Measuring 0.046 inches in height and 0.4375 inches in width, this expandable graphite strip is chemically inert and highly stable. Tested in positive pressure conditions, it withstands hot smoke and gases, extending the integrity of door assemblies. It can be more economical than specially modified doors and can be painted to match door or frame finishes.
