The unit is housed in a rugged, black-textured aluminum desktop enclosure (3.5" H x 12" W x 6" D). The unit accepts, via the rear-mounted BNC connector, either ESE Time CodeT (TC76T, TC89T, or TC90T) or SMPTE/EBU Time Code (Time of Day only).
