#8-36 Carbon Steel Hand Tap Set
The Drill America DWTS8-36 Carbon Tap Set, 8-36", is used to re-thread damaged and/or jammed threads. It is also suitable for threading mild steels. The set includes three styles: Taper, Plug, and Bottom, which start, plug, and generate threads to the bottom of the hole, respectively. Straight flute tools allow chips to collect in the flutes as they cut, making them well-suited for most applications in shallow cuts. The uncoated tools feature a base substrate without any additional treatment or coatings.
