Burndy . YHN500
The Burndy YHN-500 is a compression tap designed for use with N die connectors. It accommodates wire diameters between 0.522" and 0.815" and is suitable for 4/0 to 500 strand run conductors and #6 to 2/0 strand tap conductors. The tap features bendable tabs for securing both run and tap conductors, and is prefilled with joint compound to prevent corrosion. The aluminum construction minimizes galvanic corrosion and meets RoHS compliance standards.
