With its state-of-the-art inverter technology, it weighs half as much as similar welders - and costs half as much too. But it still delivers all the power you will ever need to weld steel from 20 gauge to 1/2 inch thick (up to 1/2 inch thick on 110 volts). If you add on an optional spool gun, you can also weld aluminum from 14 gauge to 1/4 inch thick.
