The CK T1167GL2 is a 2% Lanthanated Tungsten electrode suitable for use in both Alternating Current (A/C) and Direct Current (D/C) applications. It features good arc starts and stability, a medium to high amperage range, and a low erosion rate. Composed of 97.3% Tungsten, 1.8-2.2% lanthanum oxide, and 0.5% other materials, this electrode is a substitute for 2% Thoriated and is effective on low-alloyed steels, non-corroding steels, aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys, titanium alloys, nickel alloys, and copper alloys.
