The Boker Plus Air Force Pilot Survival knife has a SK5 carbon steel blade, mirror finished. The handle is crafted of leather, with aluminum and brass spacers and pommel. Includes an SAC leather sheath. The Air Force Pilot Survival fixed blade is a reissue of an extremely rare standard issue survival knife. In the late 1940's, General Curtis LeMay, the head of the Strategic Air Command (SAC), authorized the creation of a survival kit for the crews of the long range bombers.
