The Micro 100 QFG-490-078X Quick Change Face Grooving Tool features a solid carbide tool with an AlTiN coating. It is designed for generating square grooves in the face of a part, with a polished split face for improved edge retention and chip evacuation. The tool has a 0.078" (1.98 mm) groove width, 0.100" (2.54 mm) projection, and a 0.500" (12.7 mm) minimum groove diameter. It also has a 0.5000" (12.7 mm) shank diameter and a 2.5" (64 mm) overall length.
