VDV II PRO | Cloud Connected Voice, Data and Video Cable Verifier | TREND Networks (formerly IDEAL Networks) The VDV II PRO allows a user to check the integrity of copper cables commonly found in domestic, commercial, or industrial voice, data, or video installations, including telephone wiring, data network, and video/security cabling. Features The flagship VDV II PRO cable verifier offers functionality not previously available in a wiremapper. TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) to accurately measure cable length and provide distance to fault information. The VDV II PRO also features integrated RJ-11/RJ-12 (voice), RJ-45 (data), and coax F-Type (video) connectors allow faster testing. The VDV II PRO can also determine which media service is running over the cable, such as ISDN, PBX, and PoE (power over Ethernet). Troubleshooting active Ethernet networks is also made easier with in-built network detection that displays network rate and duplex information. The VDV II PRO includes all the features of the VDV II PLUS including a hub blink function for port identification and a larger 2.9" screen display and backlight.
