ARCAL? R1-5 is an ARCAL Technical line product. ARCAL R1-5 is a gas with hydrogen content, designed for TIG and plasma welding austenitic stainless steel applications. This gas is highly recommended for automatic austenitic stainless steel welding of pipes and vessels. The ARCAL R1-5 offers good density of the weld bead from low oxidation (H2), good shiny flat finish appearance of the weld bead which reduces passivation time. The properties of this gas cater to increased welding speeds (H2) which in turn reduce welding time!
