Phenolic wheels give you similar capacities to steel wheels, however, they provide better floor protection, slightly quieter rolling, do not rust, & are more economically priced.Phenolic wheels are made using phenolic resin mixed with macerated canvas which yields a high capacity and high impact wheel. They have hard treads & will not flat spot over time which is why they are often used on equipment that is under constant heavy loads, such as storage bins, dumpsters, and BBQ Pits. Phenolic wheels are resistant to oil, grease, solvents, non-metallic, & non-sparking.We recommend phenolic wheels for many applications, however, if you need more floor protection, a cushioned ride, or a quiet rolling wheel, we recommend you look at the thermoplastic rubber wheel or polyurethane wheels.*Please note temperature ratings are dependent upon the bearing selected.
