The Chevy B-Body had drum brakes from 1977-93 - disc brakes were introduced to the platform in 1994, but GM kept same brake proportioning valve, and as a result the rear brakes are greatly underutilized on the Impala SS and Caprice. Proforged's Stealth Brake Bolt Kit changes the brake bias from an estimated 95% front / 5% rear to 65% front / 5% rear. It also reduces brakes dive by eliminating the delay in onset for the rear brakes - evening out pad wear and significantly improving braking performance.
