Achieve maximum life from your diamond drills by using the correct Sharpening Stone. These highly abrasive stones remove worn diamond and bond contact, exposing fresh cutting crystals. CRL Sharpening Stones are intended for use with multi-layer diamond drills, such as our DCD, HBT, PD, and PDT Series Drills. The purpose of the Stone is to remove bond matrix and expose a fresh layer of diamond crystal. Use the Stone when your diamond drill becomes slow in drilling.
When using a CRL Sharpening Stone, make sure the drill diameter is smaller than the sharpening surface. This is for your safety. A smaller stone can catch and spin in the drill, causing potential injury to the operator. The entire diamond section of the drill
should be in contact with the Stone. Do not over-use the Stone. Only light dressing is needed to expose fresh diamond. Do not dress sides of diamond drills.
TO SHARPEN: Submerge Stone in water or suitable coolant solution before use to fully saturate Stone. Position Stone securely under drill mounted in the machine. Block or hold Stone securely to prevent spinning. Set drill speed to slowest setting and lower the drill onto the Stone several times with just enough pressure to ensure 360 degree contact with the Stone. Raise and remove the diamond tube drill from machine. By hand, lightly turn the diamond drill counter-clockwise three or four turns in the groove just created in the Stone.
Now try drilling your glass again. Your drilling performance should be greatly improved.
NOTE: For sharpening diamond wheels, use our finer EMSS Type Stones
Product Warning:
Always wear the proper safety gear including eye protection when using a sharpening stone. Always make sure to use a stone that is wider than the diameter of drill being sharpened. This minimizes the risk of drill or stone breakage during use. Failure to follow any of these precautions can result in operator injury.

.

CRL supplies Security Anti-Lift Aluminum Extrusions for the fabrication of Sliding Track Assemblies used in display showcases. They incorporate a design that prevents lift-out, an extra measure of security when used with typical Upper Channel and Ratchet or Plunger Type Locks. You can use them with 3/16" to 1/4" (5 to 6 mm) thick glass, and they are no more difficult to install than normal, less secure track assemblies.
For your convenience, CRL has provided ready-to-install Security Track Assemblies in pre-cut lengths of 36", 48", and 72" (914 mm, 1.22 m, and 1.83 m). These assemblies reduce your labor, minimize excess material, and are shipped to you ready-to-install, with all the required components included. CRL Cat. No. TA30 End Caps for use with Cat. No. S710A Security H-Bar can be ordered separately.
How it Works: The Security H-Bar can only be installed on the Security Lower Rails by tilting the sliding panel at a 70 degree angle, lifting the Ball Bearing Wheel Assembly on to the Lower Rail, then pushing the sliding panel to a full 90 degrees vertical. This must be done before you mount the Upper Double Channel permanently in the opening.
The Result: The bottom of the Security H-Bar is shaped so that it cannot be lifted off the specially designed Lower Rails and into the Upper Channel once it has been permanently mounted. This is the basis of this simple, yet effective design.
General Glass Cutting Guidelines:
Glass Height = Opening Height
Minus 1-3/8" (35 mm)
Product Warning:
Maximum suggested panel size is 36" W x 48" H (914 mm x 1.22 m).

.

Our innovative glass entrance system, the CRL Wedge-Lock? Door Rail System features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock? Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, and European Patent No. EP 1 404 939 B1). A totally new concept for securing the glass in the door rail. It works by applying pressure from the bottom of the door rail, using two glass retaining aluminum extrusions via a flat stainless steel bar. As this bar is pulled down with socket head cap bolts, pressure is applied to the glass retaining aluminum extrusions. The bottom of the extrusions are at an angle and fit into an angled groove in the door rail. As the glass retaining extrusions are being pulled down, the angled wedge in the door rail also pulls the glass retaining extrusions together. This action, along with our specially designed door retaining gasket, creates a tremendous amount of force (more than 900 lbs.) in our 9" (228.6 mm) Corner Rail. That's 100 lbs. per inch. Imagine how much force is created in our full length 35-3/4" (908 mm) Door Rails!
The Wedge-Lock? Glass Securing System gives you more than a secure attachment to the glass. It provides the fastest installation time of any door rail system offered to the industry. Experienced installers can have a door prepared for installation in less than ten minutes.
CRL Wedge-Lock? Door Rails come completely fabricated and ready-to-install right out of the carton with the End Caps installed. After the rail is installed, the only thing required before hanging the door is to attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the Door Rail. The Adjustable Door Alignment System feature allows you to adjust the door 1/8" (3.2 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. This is standard on both top and bottom rails.
After the door is installed all you need do to adjust the door is to remove the End Cap. This will reveal three socket head cap bolts. The center bolt is the securing bolt used to lock the adjustable slide in position. The two outer bolts are used to adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low profile of the adjustable slide allows the pivots with slotted grooves to be moved to a position other than the American Standard Setback of 2-3/4" (69.8 mm). This means we can fabricate them for vertically out-of-square openings.
Other reasons to choose Wedge-Lock? Door Rails: Models are available to accept 3/8" to 3/4" (10 or 19 mm) glass; a rigid single component housing that will not shift and fall out of adjustment over time because it is not made up of two halves; the internal components do not require removal before installation; the glass securing pads are designed for longevity in extreme environments.
NOTE: All Wedge-Lock? Door Rails feature the built-in Jamb Alignment Block, but arms and pivots must be ordered separately to meet job requirements.
CRL Wedge-Lock? Door Rails come in several standard finishes, and can be quoted in custom finishes and widths upon request.
The CRL Adjustable Geneva Series has taken our popular Geneva Hinge to a new level. Adjustment to accommodate the desired angle (up to 90 degree) is done after the door is installed. Once the door is hung, simply loosen the Allen set screws and turn the door to the desired closed position. By merely tightening the Allen screws your door will self-center to the desired closing position. The door can swing 90 degree inward and 90 degree outward (adjusting angle from factory set position will reduce 90 degree swing in that direction). For doors pulling outwards only(using a clear door jamb), you can adjust the hinge to close 5 degree inside the shower area, thus having the door close snugly against the jamb.
Using two hinges with 5/16" to 1/2" glass (8 to 12 mm) the hinge will hold up to 80 lbs. (36 kg) with a maximum door width of 28" (711 mm).
Using three hinges with 5/16" to 1/2" glass (8 to 12 mm) the hinge will hold up to 120 lbs. (54 kg) with a maximum door width of 32" (813 mm).
SPECIFICATIONS:
Glass Thickness: 5/16" (8 mm) to 1/2" (12 mm) Tempered Safety Glass
Special Features: Adjustable to any angle up to 90 degree without having to take door down.
Construction: Solid Brass
Hinge Swings: 90 degree in and 90 degree out (at factory set position).
Closing Type: Self-Centering when within 15 degree of closed position.
Cut-Out Required Includes: Gaskets, Screws, and Glass Fabrication Dimensions. Door Closer Bodies fit into standard 1-3/4" x 4" (44 x 102 mm), or larger, extrusions. Door Closers with different spring sizes or hardware options are available.
Adjustable Spring Power
Allows adjustment of spring tension from a minimum of 8-1/2 lbs. opening force to a medium spring size to accommodate site conditions and requirements.
Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-Critical valve control adjusts both Closing Speed and Latching Speed independent of each other.
Special Retaining Rings
Prevent the Adjustment Valve Screws from being backed all the way out of the Door Closer Body.
NOTE: An auxiliary floor or overhead door stop is recommended to prevent possible damage to both the door closer and entry way due to over-extension of maximum allowable door swing.
Product Warning:
Closers set to comply with A.D.A. specified opening forces might not provide adequate spring power to control and close the door due to varying site conditions and door size.

.

The CRL PR70 Series of Multi-Size Adjustable Spring Power Surface Mounted Door Closers are a range of Closers offering A.D.A. Barrier-Free (low opening resistance), Delayed Action models to allow adjustable delayed closing, and heavy-duty full range models for full control of heavier commercial doors. They are also available in Brite Gold and Polished Chrome finishes to complement most architectural finish requirements.
The Delayed Action feature adjusts the time a door will remain open to facilitate ease of progress through the opening. This feature is valuable in health care facilities and public buildings that require door closers to momentarily stay open. Closing and latching speed controls are independently adjustable, and an adjustable backcheck feature helps prevent damage to the closer, door, and adjacent structures should the door be violently swung open due to wind or heavy pedestrian traffic.
All PR70 Closers are UL Listed and warranted for ten years. Parallel Arm Brackets and mounting hardware are included with each closer permitting universal installation for regular, top jamb or parallel arm applications. Optional accessories, such as Drop Plates and Hold Open Arms, are available for special installations.
Product Warning:
Closers set to comply with A.D.A. specified opening forces might not provide adequate spring power to control and close the door due to varying site conditions and door size.

Most shipping weights are approximate and have not been verified.
The CRL Regal Adjustable Hinge is unique in design and function. The Wall Mount Model requires only two holes in the door (no cut-out). The Glass-to-Glass Model only requires four holes per Hinge (two in the door and two in the fixed panel). The Regal Hinge offers an adjustable closing angle from 0 degree to 90 degree. After the door is installed, simply loosen the Allen screw adjustment, position the door to the desired closed position, and tighten the Allen screw. You have now solved the problem of walls not meeting the door at the perfect 90 degree angle. This adjustment feature means that a single Glass-to-Glass model can accommodate angles from 90 degree to 180 degree.
NOTE: REG037 and REG180 are not available in Europe.
Using two hinges with 5/16" or 3/8" glass (8 or 10 mm) the hinge will hold up to 90 lbs.
The CRL Ultimate Series Hinge is named primarily for its combination of design elegance and service life. Featuring the same beautiful rounded corners and beveled edges of the Pinnacle Hinge, the Ultimate Hinge is constructed entirely of 316 stainless steel. This all-stainless construction gives the Ultimate Hinge a durability not usually found in brass hinges. The Ultimate has superior survivability in conditions of accelerated corrosion, such as seaside communities with high atmospheric salt levels. The Ultimate Hinge has stainless steel plunger tips, pins, and springs to ensure long service life and reliable door closure. It also has the same Reversible 5 degree Pivot Pin featured in our Geneva, Cathedral, Pinnacle, Roman, and Elite Series Hinges. A Custom Pivot Pin is available for "off-angle" installations.
STANDARD REVERSIBLE PIVOT PIN: Each Roman Hinge contains a Reversible Pivot Pin. One side of the Pin is marked at 90 degree. The opposite side of the Pin is marked 85 degree. Standard Roman Hinges come with the 90 degree side activated. Pre-Set Models come with the Pin pre-set for 85 degree (5 degree tighter closure into shower interior). The Pin can be rotated (not flipped upside down) to activate the other side.
CUSTOM PIVOT PIN: Custom Pivot Pins are available to accommodate "off-angle" installations. As an example, you may encounter a wall that will not meet your door at 90 degree. If the standard 5 degree Pivot Pin contained in the hinge does not assist in closing the door to the position desired, you may specify the angle needed for a Custom Pivot Pin (up to 45 degree).
Using two hinges with 5/16" to 1/2" glass (8 to 12 mm) the hinge will hold up to 90 lbs.
The CRL 4" (102 mm) Square Sidelite Rail is commonly used in office and storefront applications to secure fixed glass panels. Since the profile matches our Door Rails, these Sidelite Rails can be used top and bottom for a matching look, or with a variety of smaller configuration U-Channels. Glass is installed easily with the 'lift and drop' method using our 4" (102 mm) Aluminum and Neoprene Setting Blocks. Glass is secured with a Top Load EPDM Roll-in Glazing Gasket that eliminates the messy application of silicone sealant. Also available in this size are our 4" (102 mm) Tapered Sidelite Rails to match our Tapered Door Rails.
Available in several finishes in 120" (3.05 mm) lengths and two finishes in extra long 240" (6.10 mm) lengths, they match heights to both floor mounted and 1/2" (12.7 mm) threshold doors using our Reversible Saddle.
