Please note that before we can issue a Returned Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) for AEM Electronics products, it is first necessary for the installer or end user to contact our Electronics tech line at 1-800-423-0046 to discuss the problem. Most issues can be solved over the phone. Under no circumstances should a system be returned or RMA requested before the above process transpires. Advanced Engine Management Inc. warrants to the consumer that all AEM High Performance products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from date of the original purchase. Products that fail within this 12 month warranty period will be repaired or replaced at AEM’s option, when determined by AEM that the product failed due to defects in material or workmanship. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the AEM part. In no event shall this warranty exceed the original purchase price of the AEM part nor shall AEM be responsible for special, incidental or consequential damages or cost incurred due to the failure of this product. Warranty claims to AEM must be transportation prepaid and accompanied with dated proof of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of product and is non-transferable. All implied warranties shall be limited in duration to the said 12 month warranty period. Improper use or installation, use for racing, accident, abuse, unauthorized repairs or alterations voids this warranty. AEM disclaims any liability for consequential damages due to breach of any written or implied warranty on all products manufactured by AEM. Warranty returns will only be accepted by AEM when accompanied by a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Credit for defective products will be issued pending inspection. Product must be received by AEM within 30 days of the date RMA is issued.
Premium Guard Products Warranty Premium Guard filters are warranted to be free from manufacturer's defects in material, workmanship or design in accordance with the terms and conditions described below. Premium Guard filters meet or exceed OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) requirements and are tested in accordance with the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers' test procedures. New car warranties remain in effect when Premium Guard filters are used in accordance with the engine manufacturer's change intervals. In the event of an engine failure directly caused by a defective Premium Guard filter, which was properly installed and changed following the engine manufacturer's recommended service intervals, IDUSA warrants that it will pay for the repair of, if necessary, replacement of an engine or other parts damaged as a result of any defect in any of its filters. Claims for engine repairs provided under the warranty must be submitted within 30 days of discovery of damage. A delegated laboratory assigned by IDUSA will have the right to examine the engine and filter to determine the amount of damage and whether it was caused by a defective Premium Guard filter. This warranty DOES NOT COVER any product that has been subjected to misuse, neglect, negligence or accident, or that has been improperly maintained, operated or installed. The warranty DOES NOT APPLY to any damage to the product that is the result of rust or corrosion. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, including the implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose which are expressly excluded. IDUSA shall not be liable for consequential or incidental damages resulting from or caused by the use, operation, failure or defect of any premium guard filter. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Progress Products, when properly installed and under normal conditions of use, except as provided in a separate written agreement between seller and buyer, seller warrants its manufactured goods will conform to its catalogue specifications and be free from defects and deficiencies in workmanship and materials for a term of 1-year from the date of sale. Progress fan motors are warranted to the end user to be free of electrical and/or mechanical defects for a period of 15 years from the date of purchase. Pull chain switches, reverse switches and capacitors are warranted for a period of 1-Year from the date of sale. Metal finishes, due to varying climatic conditions, (including pitting, rusting, tarnishing, peeling or corroding), are warranted for a period of 1-Year from the date of sale. Warping of wooden or plastic fan blades is not covered by this warranty. This warranty excludes fluorescent ballasts and high intensity discharge (HID) components and buyer agrees to make all claims regarding defects or deficiencies therefore according to the warranty or the manufacturer thereof as its sole source of recourse or compensation. In the event of a valid warranty claim, seller may repair or replace the returned goods according to its procedure. All other warranties, express or implied, are expressly disclaimed including but not limited to warranties of fitness or merchantability. Buyer shall not be entitled to repair or replacement except pursuant to a written warranty claim validated in writing by the seller. Any unauthorized return, repair, replacement, modification of product, or misuse of goods by buyer shall void the warranty. In no case does our warranty extend to anybody other than our customers, and no one is authorized to extend warranties or remedies on our behalf. Purolator filters are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship in accordance with the terms and conditions described below. This limited warranty is effective for the recommended service interval and driving severity published in the owner’s vehicle manual (“Warranty Period”). Purolator will replace any Filter which is found to be defective in material or workmanship and is within the Warranty Period. If Purolator further determines, in its sole discretion, that the alleged defective Filter caused engine damage during the Warranty Period, Purolator will also repair or replace any damaged engine parts. New car warranties are not affected by use of Purolator filters. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER damage due to: -use of filter on non-approved or non-recommended applications -misuse, negligence, modification, accidents, abuse, or improper maintenance, operation or installation; -use of motor oil other than the viscosity and type recommended in the ownerʼs vehicle manual; -unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts; -failure caused by rust or corrosion. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS VOID if filters are submitted in a condition that prohibits testing to validate any alleged defect or malfunction.
